A simply beautiful citrine ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Set in the center of this striking piece is a single, large oval cut citrine stone which is set in 14k yellow gold. The citrine is prong set within a simple, smooth mounting. The citrine displays a wonderful deep amber tone, and beautifully complements the yellow gold which composes the piece. The inside of the shank is stamped with a "JW" maker's mark, a small eagle, and a "14K" purity mark. This fabulous ring would make a gorgeous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring is a size 6, and could easily be resized. The rings oval shaped setting measures 1/2" at its widest point, slightly more than 5/8" at the tallest point and has a depth of 1/4".
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or the citrine stone, which is intact.
